I think the ACLU has a valid point. No-one is in any danger of confusing a vegan meat for an animal product. These laws are an obvious pandering to the meat producers (and by that I mean big corps, not your responsible herder who is selling to you at your local FM).

I remember hearing of some ridiculous kerfuffle over "milk" a while back. Keep your laws off my language!!
