What is your favorite color and how does it make you feel? I'm referring to just the color of something, not the object itself.
Green is my favorite color although I'm a huge fan of rainbows and color in general. I use green as my default favorite because I tend to gravitate toward green clothing and objects and I love nature which is primarily green in my area. I like to wear green because it compliments my natural coloring and it's easy to pick outfits when most things match. Growing up I went through periods where purple or orange were my favorite colors but I always went back to green.
Nice soothing color. I like green too, except lighter green cars. Detest tgat for some reason.
The palm of everyone's hand is exactly 17% gray.
It does depend, colour of what, I like black, but not black cars, I love seeing green, life in nature, but just colour, some of the blues, I find they soothe.
Greens sooth anxiety/upset while blue calms anger/agitation. Jails and schools use blue and hospitals use green and burgandies. Studies prove people lift more weight in blue weight rooms. Go figure!
black even though it isn't a colour
Our limited human capacitu uses it as a color. As a paint, we use it as a color. With light it is devoid.
it's a fact
Warm chocolate or coffee brown. Maybe mocha. I painted my house brown recently and afterwards realized it was, despite the color chart from the good people at Sherwin-Williams, actually 'baby shit brown'. Its grew on me pretty quick. After adding a cream trim and accents in 'incense stick', it looks pretty great.
I saw an article where an artificial intelligence tried naming colors like the paint stores do, and they're pretty funny. At the time I saw it, I was painting the house I just bought. Looking at the AI colors, my house color is "dorkwood." I think I should call my house Dorkwood, like it's some fancy estate.
@carlyhorton i love it!
@carlyhorton mines turdly
@MrLink call your house Turdly Manor! Greetings from Dorkwood!
Funny how people can come together over colors?
@carlyhorton Very popular with the ladies
Purple. Watching my college basketball team play, and their colors are purple and white, and we are ahead at half time. I'm a older guy, and I wear purple. Feeling good.
Any guy who can rock purple is sexy in every woman's book I know.
I like orange and turquoise...but never for winter clothes. I also love white, acqua and lilac ans salmon.
I cantbtell bybthe picture but it seems you have a coral colored shirt on. It brings out yourf coloring. Good choice. Mellow, strong, inviting.
@EllenDale You're right! It is coral. You made me wonder...I have a coral sweater, but I haven't worn it yet this year. So I was trying to figure out what I was wearing in the picture!
I had to find the pic on my phone. It's a wider shot and I figured it out. It was October and warm and it's a short sleeve shirt. And I've only worn it a couple of times. I like the color but not the shirt. The neckline is too low-scooped. It's OK to wear around but not at work. I have to be careful when I bend down to talk to a kid so I don't give them a sight they can't un-see.
Don't really have one. It depends more on my mood, which is pretty steady, and what the thing is to be colored.
Red Cars
Blue Jeans
Dark Brown Hair
Green Eyes
Purple Flowers
Aqua Water
White Snow
.....
Very nice list. I can especially feel the aqua water--so refreshing and bright!
Red. Love looking at red stuff. I don't look good in red, I don't like drawing attention to myself, and I don't like how I feel when I wear red, but I don't mind having red clothes, because...red! I get the red pieces when playing a board game, or I pout. J/K Red dishes, red luggage, anything. If I have a choice, I'm probably picking red. I like red objects, but not decorating with it--too much is overbearing. And not a red car. That's asking for trouble.
Energizing, invigorating... For me, red has a presence that no other color has--almost physical. I feel almost nourished when I look at it.
LOL @Stevil
You got it stinkeye_a. Viewing the color red increases our breathing and heart rate. It's not for nothing that casinos use a red/burgundy palette. Everything, everything they do is geared toward getting in your pockets!
I'm this pinky, peachy, orangey color. It covers my entire body.
Okay, okay, real answer: I have a few colors I really like. Red has been a favorite since I was a child. It's bright and fun and grabs my attention. In terms of elegance, I like burgundy. It's rich and warm and luxurious. I also like the calm of a deep, medium-dark blue, something a little brighter than navy. And, of course, solid black, because it seems so stately; I wear a lot of black clothing.
You have captured the feeling most reported for those colors. Very interesting. I had to check when you said pinky, eachy, orange that your name was Donald. Lol
Purple is a great feeling, if I'm in a good mood my purple bandana goes on to reflect that. I'm off to watch a blues band now and that's going to make me feel pretty damn purple.
Your eyes look great with that purple bandana!
I'm going locally to hear a great band from southern Wisconsin on April 4. We better start shoveling soon if we want to be prepared, lol.
