So an issue which is current, secular, controversial and strangely has religious support (I suppose it has anyway) is the nofap movement. I wondered what you guys thought of it? Tons of secular men and women abstaining from what may have been for many of us who were Christian teenagers a huge guilt and shame because actually science agrees - its not doing us good physically and mentally. I've joined the movement! and as you can imagine I don't have a shit ton of people I talk to about my masturbation habits in my social circle lol. I find the arguments compelling, that the internet idea of sexiness is something normal women (and men) cannot compete with and thus real sex is ruined by it, and that industry (porn) exploits the vulnerable and the damaged for sure. I work with teenagers and am just terrified for them as to how unhealthy their future sexual relationships are going to be, being raised on the pictures and footage most of them are seeing.
Interested in your thoughts. Any nofap adherents?

Not sure what you expect, actually...have you ever thought it might be nobody's business?
Views on human sexuality have, as we all know, changed over time and continue to evolve. I believe that each person should experiment with what feels good to them. Example: I read an article once that stated you should masterbate every day as a way to know your body better. I tried it but quickly found for me it was a chore... so I quit. Should everyone... I have no clue! If you wish to abstain then by all means go for it.
I believe the biggest problems with this subject arise from a group trying to dictate to all THE way to enjoy sex.
Sounds ridiculous. But if it works for you, go for it. Or don't go for it is probably more accurate.
Idk what nofap is.
I continue to masturbate and have a healthy sex life. It all comes back to critical thinking. If folks cannot or will not discern between fantasy (porn) and real life, they deserve whatever their sex life entails.
At the end of the day - none of it is our business. And it should remain that way.
