Why can I not locate the movie "King's Day Out" featured on PBS?
I have looked & asked in many venues. I appeal to you as a qualified source.

This from the 1994 Halliwell's film guide
The half-hour film King’s Day Out produced, written and directed by Rob Kuhns was first shown at the 1993 Sundance Film Festival, it premiered on WTTW’s series, Image Union
