I have no doubt that the American relationship with Israel is based primarily on Christian belief of where our respective religions came from and that together we are both worshiping the "one true god." This would explain to me why Israel became a nation when they did along with them also having the bomb early on. It is this belief that screwed everything all up in the Middle East. The interesting thing is that when you get an Israeli talking about his god you find that he is not in agreement with American Christians at all. America was duped and many people suffer.
