Population growth triggers increases agricultural encroachment on wildlife, triggers decreased food production, triggers war, triggers increased population pressure, triggers, .....

Everyone contributes, some with good intentions as in improving water availability in Africa, which increases population. Some with bad intentions, rape culture in Nigeria produces more children to enlist (dragoon?) into warlord militias. And that’s just one continent. It is happening, albeit with slightly different nomemclature, all over. Even, or perhaps especially, in the “advanced” nations. Think USA, Russia, and China. Most of whom try to locate the damage outside of their borders.

And I’m an optimist, you really would not want to hear the pessimistic viewpoint.

Maybe. Chinese, Russian and Indian activity was the cause. We do perfectly!
