Honestly, that’s perhaps the only issue I’ve been in somewhat agreement with trump. Not that it’s his issue, simply co-opted. But just now, this did make me laugh.

Don’t know how much of the illegal immigration problem makes it over the Cascades, though some research I’d done on Fruitland along the Idaho/ Oregon border sounds very much like several town, or regions in the Willamette Valley I’d known so well.

Once again Trump and his minions have proven they have governing skills less than those of a class of grade school children. More "policies" that no one has given any thought to the repercussions their actions other than it will rev up their ever shrinking "base". This is governance by the most inept group of hateful racist amateurs with more desire to punish their enemies real and imagined than to run an effective government.

The fact that this idea was even considered — not once but twice — serves as a reminder that the Trump administration’s reckless immigration agenda is not about keeping the country safe, but about partisan politics and inflicting cruelty. The toddler in chief wants his worthless wall or he will act out.
