How do we ?
Education is under attack and if they are sucessful our children are going to be dumb.Several southern states are not only trying to teach creationism but they want to prevent text books from including anything about multiple universes,dark energy or matter,age of earth being more than 7000 years old , man and the great lizards lived at the same time and many other science related items.Then there is the sex education many wish to eliminate it or modify it so it is wothless. No condoms or birth control to be discussed, nothing about diseases you might contract.Help

It's not necessarily the "local educators". School board members, politicians (as noted in the "Several Southern States" and administration often dictate the curricula.
Humans and nature are so out of touch with each other. the world as we know it is already fucked anyway and its not over yet.

The people who are making these decisions are already too dumb to realize that when our education level drops below a certain point we will no longer be able keep up with the rest of the world intellectually. We could end up in a Idiocracy type of Catch 22 where each new generation will be stupider than the last.
