It is funny but not as funny in the details. It's not about damage to the ark. It's about insurance company failure to cover the cost of reopening an access road that was blocked in landslides twice.

Right, and what do you want to bet the insurance doesn't cover acts of god?

I just think it is ironic that they don't view this as god's will. I mean they are charging a lot of money for admission to this ridiculous 'attraction'. Seems like that would be considered a transgression against divine law.

@Bobby9 well, excessive rain caused the landslides, so there's that. But otherwise I agree with you. I was psyched for heavier irony (rain damage to the ark itself), and then I was bummed by the less funny truth. Oh well.
