Why no holy books never mention microbes?

It has always intrigued me that no matter how holy text is it never talks or mentions microbes.

That's because they were written by people who didn't even know where the sun went at night, let alone being versed in biology..

Because holy books are nothing more than fiction. This is one of the reasons I can be certain there are no gods.
