Sadly, waste recycling is a non-profitable business, and enthusiasts who do it fail. I think that the countries' governments should support such businesses and give tax preferences to those engaged in waste recycling. But while there is nothing like this next to me, I sort the garbage using things like [amazon.ca] so that you can take this garbage to the nearest plastic and tin recycling plant. I think each of us should do the same.
Recycling sorter from Quebec here. From my humble point of view, I think the recycling business is a place where noble environmental principals clashes head to head with the cold reality of globalized capitalism.
On one side, you have product makers that don't want to pay for the recycling of their packages. On the other, you have governments that are not taking this issue seriously, that don't have the will to solve it.
Now that is interesting as the same has happened in Victoria Australia. Would be interesting has happened anywhere else in the world.
Looks like there could be a dislike for recycling!
We have it enforced how important recycling is so, my rational and critical thinking suggests that if it is important then the state government might like to take it over.
Unless of course there are reasons not to!
Too bad its all based on profit. There must be others around.
