This is just wonderful! So many homeless people just want to feel seen. Making eye contact and smiling can be enough to turn around someone's day, even if you don't have change to spare.
Telling then they are worthy of a fresh hot meal, instead of garbage scraps, and providing it to them, is such a kind gesture.
