LINK States, politicians back gun-maker in Sandy Hook appeal

Should the gun maker be liable? Who should take responsibility? Should ANYONE be responsible for gun violence other than the person wielding it?

the "responsible gun owner" in the sandy hook shooting paid a pretty high price for her lack of responsibility. not legal jeopardy. worse - at least from the point of view of someone who professes he would not enjoy getting shot to death in the face in his sleep with his own responsibly owned weapon.

but no laws should never change because guns don't kill people, people kill people. and you cannot fault responsible gun owners, or gun manufacturers, or gun toting politicians for others' actions.

besides hasn't it been predicted by the nra that it wouldn't do any good. and that is why NOTHING can be done.

@ToolGuy I have some theories, but I find it reasonably close to trying to understand the religious. Even if I could understand the thought process and motives, I don't understand how public safety is not the choice they make. 7 year olds in classrooms should have been enough... well prior should have been enough. I will never get it.

It's the guns!

@BitFlipper you think? The muse was about why they choose the guns over public safety.

@larsatrg The gunners' mantra is that they (the gunners) protect the rest of us.
