Be careful as others put labels on you to manipulate you.

Neither can get a foothold on the open pits to push up and confidence can’t keep you out of the pit of arrogance. But, the weight of humility can do that. Conversely, humility alone can allow you to fall into a pattern/pit of deprecating yourself. But, confidence can lift you up out of self deprecating behavior.

I see confidence and humility as two things that must exist in balance; the "secret" is mindfulness and self awareness I think.
