as kids - anyone play "starlight starbright"? thats what we called it anyway. at night, the darker the better. one light - usually the front porch - it was the start and finish. whoever was "it" would go and hide in the shadows around the house somewhere. everyone else had to make a circuit around the house without being caught by the "it". kind of scary when you're 10 years old.

We did hide and seek, parents had to start making rules about where we couldn't hide.

No, I don't remember that one, but we played kick the can where we all hid while the person who was "it" had to find us - and, once found, we had to stay with the can until a free person came and kicked it, thus freeing us. Sometimes staying hidden in the underbrush was scary enough that I didn't mind being captured.

@hankster Oops, I didn't see it (so sorry!). NO, it wasn't too silly - I loved it immediately! It both made me smile, and intrigued me. Now I want more. 🙂 Is there more?

@hankster Then it will have to be a moment in time in my head just as it is, fully formed. I think write how you feel, and don't let the rules ruin it. I'm looking forward to the new ones. 🙂
