It is war on plastic straws and bags... Globally. Now hang on a sec because what it easier to comply with these regulations. Nearly billion people or 8000 factories in around 150 countries? It is different to short out the problem directly and once and for all and it is different to make hysteria about it. Governments can finance the transition of these factories within a space #...lets say 4 years from plastic to alternative eco friendly material. Then if those factories do not want to comply with this close them down like the Chernobyl power station. The other option is to make understand 8 billion people to respect the environment in the next 30 years.... Now either governments are hopeless against aggressive examples of capitalism or idiots or they want to create groups like vegans, vegetarians etc that have created in a similar way....Divide and Conquer....
