Isn't it peculiar that the wealthy always get away, and the poor people always get massacred ?

@TO_BY Yep, its an old story I guess. Wealth and power always accumulates into a smaller and smaller group - and it always gets bloody. The languages, skin colors and technology change, but the patterns don't.

@MissKathleen Me too, I think we can get through anything collectively - unless we really turn on each other. There are more guns than people in the United States, and millions of Trump supporters who have been fantasizing their whole lives about killing liberals and brown people.

And then of course if the United States gets into it with somebody like Russia or China - then the course of humanity may get changed big time.

Bad systems have to fail for good systems to evolve, but it may not be much fun to experience. My frustration with humanity still being so ruled by our reptilian brains is that we could be on the precipice of such amazing stuff. Our tools are getting very powerful, very quickly. If we could cooperate and think ahead - anything that physics doesn't prohibit is possible. Ending of things like cancer, radical lifespan increases, ending of hunger, and so much more. Its very frustrating.
