It means nothing. His base is his base and nothing said or done by anyone, including him, can change that. All that matters is, will it be enough to win again (i.e. will Biden turn out enough of his own voters and/or will enough old Republican voters die from Covid) to beat him AND if they do, can we actually get him out of office.
