When I was in my twenties I read a book that changed the direction of my life. on page 46 it told me to list in order 10 things I wanted or wanted to achieve. and not to turn the page until this task was complete. after completing I turned to page 47 it instructed me to take the top 2 items on the list and put them on the bottom and focus on the third item.the theory being that we spend too much time on 1 and 2. and can possibly not get passed 1 and 2. 3 on my list was travel., it changed everything for me. anyone read this book? what is the title.
sounds like a great book-hope someone here knows.
This is a strategy used by Warren Buffett. Perhaps a book by Buffett or the author has read Buffett.
Edit to add: I've been looking up Buffett's strategy, and it's not really the same. He says list 20 things, then narrow it to the 5 most important, then...focus ONLY on the top 5 and "avoid at all costs" the rest until the first 5 are done. I'm not sure how that really plays out in real life...
Can't help you on that one, sorry. I will let you know if I come across something as you had described though.
