Women and children were considered property at the time, so a lot of atrocities were recorded, thinking at the time that there was nothing wrong in what they were doing...
That is why I tell people secular morality is much more moral than biblical morality... because seciular morality progresses and advances, whiel biblical morality is stuck in the past.
@snytiger6 not so...the "new husbands" got a bunch of bad luck & figured out the scam, and returned Sarah to make things right with their (pagan) gawd(s).....
