I don't care if he concedes. I don't care what he does, as long as he leaves. Vacate the White House. That's all he had to do.

watch Maddow last night he needs to go right now

@whiskywoman Rachel is great. Trump is doing a bunch of onesies and twosies for Putin to benefit Russia and hurt National Security. Trump is a traitor to this country.

@barjoe I been saying that for 4 years

I dunno, be pretty fun to watch federal agents remove him forcibly from the WH. Hopefully they smack his head on the car while putting him in the backseat.

@1of5 I don't fantasize. I'm a realist. Gnostic Atheist. I predict the future based on what could happen and my pessimism. I still thinks it's possible he resigns for the pardon. He wouldn't have to attend the inauguration that way either.

@barjoe well goodie for you. I'm enough of a realist to know fantasies don't come true. My little scenario has him arrested and jailed immediately, which I like a lot. Most likely he doesn't come back from Mar a Lago after Xmas vacation anyways. The WH will be in full transition at that point, a continual reminder that he's a losing looser who lost. Nothing says he has to attend the inauguration and I'd be kinda surprised if he did.

@1of5 Goodie for me! For him to intentionally forgo the swearing in would be a first. I think he needs the pardon. I'm not sure the self pardon would work. Do you think he'd take that chance?

@barjoe I do think he would, and this court is so fucked up they could rule in his favor. Presidential pardon powers are sweeping and most importantly self pardon is not forbidden by the text of the constitution. The only argument against it is the legal concept that one cannot be the judge of themselves.

He also appointed 3 of the justices - who in theory should recuse themselves but won't - so to think the argument would be in front of a hostile court is a stretch.

NY states gonna fry him anyways.
