no offense, but this person obviously has not even opened a Bible to see for themselves, and is relying on the Deceived to interpret for them; we can plainly read the warnings about relying on a government, in 1Sam8. There is no "burning forever" in the Bible, "eternity" comes from aion, "a space of time, an age," and etc. Ad nauseum, i might add. There is no judgement for beliefs in the Bible--only for works--and a Roman Centurion (Mithraist) and a "good" Samaritan (Atheist) are given the highest praise.
No son of man may die for another's sins is plainly Written, as is He who seeks to save his life/soul will lose it, and No one has ever gone up to heaven but he who came down from it
There ya go...again, trying to make religion rational. It just doesn't work like that. In order to to understand, you need to "think", to make religion work, you have to reject "thinking" and " believe", have faith...see how that works? A thing can either be rational, or irrational...you can go crazy attemping to make it both...
the post makes several bad assumptions, beginning with "eternity=forever," which is what believers do, but is not supported by the Bible, not anywhere. "aion" is defined as "a space of time, an age" right.
And Gehenna is on earth, not in some nebulous "afterlife" that our Norse/Angle translators have placed it in
also No son of man may die for another's sins obviously has not been contemplated, i mean its right there in plain english eh
:crickets, of course
thought the op sounded fam lol
ok bye then
When your brainwashed from the time you were born........you simply become incapable of being reasonable or thinking rationally.
What reasonable person would believe a snake talked? That a human was turned to salt? That a body of water was separated by some “supernatural force”?
ha those only make sense symbolically, yes
