I would never get into a Lyft, Uber or Taxi by myself. The odds of me ever being in that position are minuscule, but just sayin'.

IIUC, taxi drivers have-to pass criminal background checks -- not always true for Uber/Lyft.
@FearlessFly I would feel safer in a Taxi, but I still wouldn't--unless it was a woman driver. That said, I guess I would do a Lyft or Uber with a woman driver, if I had ever found myself in need of using one.
. . . or just search rape by taxi driver . . .
