He faced the BLM and got away with it so he expects the same today. I doubt it will be the BLM that takes action this time. His actions have cost the US millions of dollars and it's payback time.
I still remember the invasion of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge and the ineptitude of the prosecution. Also, the death of one of his followers in a stand off. Still, we are now seeing these people as the citizen terrorists they are.
