Yes, accidents still will happen but it will mostly come down to two defendants, owner of the other car or the manufacturer. Owners are most likely say the vehicle failed so in order to stop some the cars will have to be inspected periodically as per whatever law is passed. Black boxes both data and cockpit voice. Be almost like regulations put on aircraft.

As long as accidents occur someone needs to get sued

U@Davidthinks that will be the company/person that owns the car they will be responsible for keeping the car in working order and up to date with all the thingamewhatsits
