if god knows the beginning and the end then why are we here?? are we just pawns in a grand scheme by all the so called gods?

Also we do seem to be ever-so-slowly approaching some...culmination? If you were to describe your current life to even your great-grandparents, they would likely suspect you were lying? And apparently by almost any metric you care to consult, "life" or the quality of it has vastly improved; at what cost might remain to be seen, but nonetheless
