So i have been binge-watching, in spurts, HGTV's "Design Star" On Demand. In season 5, they decorated apartments in Trump Tower New Jersey (whatever happened to That?!?) & Eric was the Drump Representative.
He & the hosts of the show kept using the words "elegance" and "upscale", to the point it was Obvious a deal had been struck.
I keenly watched, sometimes even froze the pic. I have been an avid DIY-er & remodeler for almost 50 years now, i know what i am shown!
The kitchen backsplash was ugly 70's baby-brick pattern, possibly even "Peel-and-Stick" vinyl, with low/mid-range appliances at best, the bathroom was a windowless shoebox, no tile at all, just a $299 plastic tub/wall combo, rental-unit shower head, no hardwoods, no molding, no balconies, no views, no Nothing above low-end Builder-grade throughout........
Probably for sale for a million or more becuz "trump" added "value".....
Grifters then, too.
I don't get House of garden but I would love to see that elegant plastic tub.
If your cable company has On Demand you can just put in "Design Star". There were I think 8 or 9 seasons. This was +/- episode 5 of season 5.
"Elegant", yeah, that's the ticket!
