When I give my arthritic elderly dogs aspirin (dose based on weight as per vet) I ALWAYS give it with a meal. Ditto for myself.

exactly we have to be smart about meds

Does it help? I have just been diagnosed with arthritis in my hand and wrist.

Enteric coated low dose is safe , but all depends what else u are taking , life style , etc .

Low dose aspirin doesn't cause excessive bleeding. Regular use of full dose aspirin is a blood thinner so it will cause excessive bleeding.
