LINK James Webb Space Telescope is all deployed -- sort of

Woo, hoo!!

The JWST is all deployed -- sort of. All the components are assembled.

Now comes 3 months of orbit insertion, fine tuning and temperature stabilization and it should be working. Wow, what an effort.

Anticipating the info keeps me tuned into its progress. I can never watch the launch of anything after the Challenger which I watched live & am now traumatized. After its out of Earths gravitational pull I am back watching. So exciting.

I am so curiously excited about the knowledge that will be gained from JWT.

On a side note, I was also elated to reply to ‘Merry Christmas’, with “Happy Launch Day!!!” 😂
