Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Do not clamor for speed in these matters, and the process of "from the bottom up"...the bigger the accusatory choir, the more airtight the cases become. A simple "slip & fall" lawsuit takes 3-5 YEARS to get to trial!!!

The problem is that the DOJ has announced it's idiotic 'plan' to work from the bottom up. In any other situation, that might be OK, but not in this case. Trump is a profoundly malign actor in our culture on multiple levels. He continues to be a malignant metastasizing cancer on our culture, and an existential threat to our political system. And, his SOP is to delay legal proceedings and has accumulated expertise doing it. Given all that, Garland should find the most expeditiously proven crime that can be used to incarcerate Trump, and proceed QUICKLY. Doing anything else constitutes incompetence and threatens/dooms the country.
