I was strangled unconscious once, distinctly remember being So worried about my 18-month old, period.
Edited to add, her father was the strangler....
Had a stroke, & went to a beautiful place with new-to-me colors and incredible peace, came back to pain, fear & disability.....meh.
Stopped breathing just recently and was surprised at what an easy way it is to go, so focused on getting air I hadn't time to feel fear, regret or anything else.
Not once did I come back eager to serve humanity, preach the gospel, or have my life flash before me, as many a huckster as written in a crummy book.........
