Religions going online, virtual, VR etc is inevitable as church attendances decline, and older less digital followers die off, replaced by the technology savvy young. Since religions are first and foremost grift operations, I suspect this is how they'll ensure their income stream. How this balances with increasingly more secular western countries, we'll have to see.
