I think the government should pay for abortions for poor women. And I fully support the rights of women to have an abortion up to 15 weeks with exceptions for rape the life of the woman and problems with the fetus. As for fascism being a threat here I strongly disagree but socialism is definitely a threat.

I see it differently. I see Putin not invading Ukraine while President You-Know-Who was in office so as to keep his puppet functioning without the distraction of a crisis. Russia will stand down until the Executive branch changed hands in spite of a coup attempt thankfully not supported by our military. Now that Biden is in office, Putin has no reason not to create discord. So too with Kim Jung Un in North Korea. Make trouble now that Biden is President. Biden is pursuing a calculated strategy with our intelligence & military advising him as usual. The outcome has yet to be determined. No one wins in wars. We shall have to read the books that delineate the history.

The ex President has damaged our country far into the future with his SCOTUS picks. We are on a course to undue decades of progress. The 1950';s were not that good for those of us prevented from securing home loans, jobs, an all of the accoutrements the privileged class had/will have. It is over for my lifetime. You win with 5 votes on SCOTUS. I do not believe we can expand the court. But I confess I only have opinion as most of the public has.

@Mooolah I disagree with you. Only 5 countries in the world allow abortions right up to the moment of birth and the US is one of them. Just for the sake of human decency we need limits on abortions with exceptions of course. Perhaps a 15 week limit on abortions would be reasonable.
