LINK Queenslane towns gone....
News.com has revealed that 2 Queensland town are gone. Record rainfalls in Burketown of 700 metres and Yeepoon near Rockhamampton 320 metres.
Both are close to seas level towns 320 mettres would also wipe out Rockhampton - Gracemere. Thank News. com being the first and only news service to report this disastrous tragedy

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.I think that your 700m is a little pessimistic. That amount of rain would see me immediatlely setting off for the Snowy Mountains. Where I live would be 300 metres under water!

That is the point. News .com.au in the link claimed a 700m flood event and another 320 m flood event.
a 700 metre flood event would be biblical at 2296.588 feet. 320 m is 1049.869 feet.
My wife cannot swim and I cannot hold my breath.
Moura has an elevation of 190 metres above sea level. (623.3596 feet)
Even with Yepoons paltry 320 m rainfall (1049.869 feet.) At an elevation of 623.3596 feet, we are now living in the new Atlantis underwater.
Somehow we are still breathing air, but do not tell News.com.au, It may ruin their well researched and factual story.
