LINK Lookin' for a fox, John Goodman

I love the Blues Brothers movies!
Have you seen both?
I consider them musicals, tho some did not. Your thoughts?
Do you have other favorites from those shows?

I enjoyed the music. The scene where they are in a black church with all the singing was fabulous...very funny and entertaining.

Loved both movies -- brought some great music. And yes, they were musicals.

I loved the Blues Brothers, but I hated with a passion the remake.

The remake sucked like most remakes do.

@buzz13 It was the worst remake of any movie I have ever seen and the worst part is I was so excited to see it. I didn't even finish watching the movie. I walked out about 40 minutes into it.

@paul1967 I never finished watching it either.

I think the original was difficult to follow, definitely. There were aspects I enjoyed in the second, altho' the story wasn't quite up to the first.
Who'da thought John would sing like this?

I liked the original , it was filmed in Chicago and I was born and raised there. Seeing their antics around places I knew was great. The bridge jump was great and I only lived a half mile from. The mall scene was an abandoned mall that we used to go to. Yes there is a Calumet City.
