Julia is the girl I am mentoring this year. Gregg, a wealthy Ph.D. psychologist I dated bought it for her. He had it shipped to me.
Julia's Dell Inspiron laptop was rated the #1 all-around laptop in 2023. Gregg made sure it has a powerful hard drive and is fast.
Julia lives in poverty. Two undocumented parents with eight children live in a three-bedroom trailer. Julia's sister sleeps in a bed with Julia. Julia is the third oldest.
She wants to become a labor and delivery nurse leading with love and kindness. She is fluent in English and Spanish in speaking, reading and writing.
So far Julia applied for five colleges and was accepted by three. Yesterday with my help she applied for Gonzaga University and WA State Univ. These last two colleges offer a bachelor degree in nursing.
This is Julia's first laptop that she owns. She will take it to college.
Yesterday I asked how she likes her new laptop. "It's very fast, easy to use, and the colors are beautiful." she replied.
I feel so happy!
You are an angel.....
Thank you! High praise.
My mother laughingly called me "a little shit."

When Julia goes to college, she will think it's the height of luxury to sleep in a dorm room bed alone.
No little sister kicking her, stealing the covers, waking her up, etc.
OUTstanding! You are a real joy to the world!
Awww... thank you, dear!
Being a volunteer college mentor is the most rewarding work I ever had.
You are such a gift to these children.
Thank you, dear!
It thrills me to send these kids to college with scholarships.
