LINK Bill Maher Shuts Down Trump Supporter

I saw this entire program and what is not said here is that Dan Crenshaw is a former Navy Seal officer and current Congressman. He had almost bizarre answers to so many things that I thought he should have been called on. I would stop the program until he explained some of his remarks.

  1. He says at one point that Democrats do not even know what a woman is for. OK, stop and make him explain. Is he trying to say that women are just baby incubators?

  2. He makes the remark that a baby alive on it's own outside the mother's body is being murdered if it is aborted. He obviously does not understand that abortion is an issue about women's health. It is not about killing babies. The issue here is that you cannot be in control of a woman's body. Others need to get this through their heads.

  3. Crenshaw said in the main program that people are trying to get your 12 year old daughter to cut her breasts of so she can become a man. They back her in this and there is nothing the parents can do about it. I suppose "they" that he is talking about are the Dems. Let's stop him at this point and make him offer us proof. If his info came from a website let's vet that website. Somewhere along the way you would have to have Dems mouthing that this is correct, or you would have to admit it is all false information. I greatly suspect it will turn out to be the latter. This is not a desire that someone wants for your daughter and nobody is advocating for cutting off your first grader's penis.

It is way past time that some of us wake up here. When you take the lies out of the issues you often find it is all just a difference of opinion. Let's wake up and be human about it. When I debate politics some of the above is how I do it and it is done totally without distractions. Either put up or shut up. No time travel and no word salad.

Maher went far too easy on Crenshaw when the latter spewed his garbage, gish-gallop style. Maher tries so hard to appeal to the Maga's so he can maximize his tours. Maher would rather criticize (often wrongly like Crenshaw) than defend them.

The video I have posted here is from the Overtime show. My remarks above that posting came from the main show itself a week ago. Crenshaw may be a liar but he is also just flat out wrong. He gave a verbal impression that women were simply baby incubators and that was there purpose. He also has no understanding of abortion as a part of women's healthcare. He should have been called on these as well as his remark that somebody somewhere is wanting to remove your 12 year olds breasts and turn her into a man and there is nothing you can do about it. Let's call that a flat out lie. Let's find out who has more authority with the child. Is it this mysterious "they" or "somebody" or is it the parents? Time to start tracking down websites with this false info and if they claim Dems said it and are behind it we should vet the sites and the quotes.

I personally identify as a Progressive and that puts me a bit left of the Dems. Remarks like Crenshaw's fall into trying to "own the Dems" which seems to be the far right having no empathy for anyone. In my book "We The People" means all of us and not just a select few in power or wanting back into power.

@DenoPenno I don't appreciate Maher giving these motherfuckers a platform if he doesn't have the balls to put them in their place when they lie. Maher is sharp but he is handicapped by his motives. Thus, he'll pollute the conversation with idiots like Crenshaw and fail to dispute his arguments. These ugly claims come from Trump, Carlson, Watters or their ilk. The GOP repeat them like trading cards to establish their 'identity'.

@racocn8 I agree but they might hold back on his show in order to be able to get guests. I think Maher and crew want to attract the right as well as anybody else. A recent guest at the very beginning of the show was Nancy Pelosi. Everything went well but Maher had to tell her a couple of times that they were not going to discuss some things she mentioned. I think he is trying to prevent claims of favoritism.
