Yes, yes and YES!!! But there are caveats. The Palestinians and Israelis would have to face eachother so yes to that but ALL countries and UN need to butt out and stop using both sides as pawns.
BUT in the case of genocide (such as Syria) UN has to get their shit together and come up with better policy! Sometimes there are just dictator bullies that need world policing...where the hell is the UN at these times? US leads UN. And, I think Niki Haley tries to be a leader...calling out dictator countries. I don't want us to be nationalists in these cases, not if we can help.
On the one hand it is very tempting to say "yes", but on the other hand, if we let eh power hungry religious leaders go wild without restraint, when we could have kept it in check, then wouldn't we be like all those who just stood by as the Nazis grew in power before WWII?
it is an unpleasant, thankless and never ending job to try to maintain peace, but considering history, the costs will be likely much higher if we don't do it.
Both choices seem to be "bad" ones. Sometimes there are no good choices available.
your right
Hell yes! We need to stop policing the world!
Don't make a victim out of USA...Is us who go policing the world.
If you even peruse the babble briefly, you will see they have been trying to kill each other since around the time the ark landed. Who are We to fix that?
Yes it is. If the Catholics and Protestants have learned to live together so can they. It is their problem and the West needs to stop[ supporting both sides and let them find a solution.
@Silvertongue We might as well make a profit from both sides since they are stupid enough to keep killing each other and we have spent over two trillion dollars trying to make them civilized.
