I went to a few X mass parties put on by my work at the local casino in town. They stopped it after the HR ladies got drunk and went wild. Some of the single guys hit on them and the lesbians got pissed. They stopped the parties. Hmmm.... it was funny to see all the pictures floating around. Oh yeah... no more alcohol at my jobs picnic grounds for October fest. I didnt drink at the time. Its funny how booze can show your true colors...lol.
We had one at a Gold Coast resort one year, after most of the staff had left. senior management got plastered, all of them, male and female, married and single in their underwear in and out of the pool and running through reception. The staff were unimpressed, probably because they missed it. Future celebrations required buses be hired for the various region, and lucky me got to be in charge for the day, ie I wasn't allowed to drink. The MD won't miss a party for anything.
Oh I remember my youthful days acting like a bartender at my buddy's annual Halloween party. I had more typsyfemales bumping into me behind that bar. I never thought of it as groping. Just some lit ladies out of character.
Never had parties like that wherever I worked at in both the past and present. I've no qualms with alcohol, it's just that everyone needs to be aware of their limits and act accordingly.
When I worked in the oil industry ( in Houston), drinking parties were requirements and just part of life, but to me, there has never been anything equal to the magnitude of that time since. Just another memory.
Or at least some colors that one normally keeps hidden.
Yes, I'd say I can be pretty of of character if I drink a lot.
My little 10 person company has a year end luncheon. They mostly all drink then. I have my water and bail asap.
Holy water I presume ?? Lol
@VAL3941 yeah, totally. I lacks that burning sensation unless it is blessed by a pedophile
