I tend to use Howdy or Aloha fairly often

I voted hey but use howdy a lot also. Said it when I was in Singapore and was asked if I was a cowboy.

Sometimes, just their names.

Depends on who they are.

Turn around and start walking away ...fast

It's usually a rhetorical 'alright?' Or if I'm at work then it's 'ey up'

1

It depends who it is.

I usually use "Good morning" or "morn'n" then move through afternoon, and evening greatings. Usually only personal phonecalls get "Hello" or "hey"

If it's my brother or close friends its generally something offensive. Otherwise its any way I can that steers a conversation away from having to use their name.

Say nothing and lie at their feet.

Hey if it's someone I know. Hi if a stranger.

2
