After answering #4 I had to look you up so I could see what 1-3 were!
I do think we need stricter gun laws. I think there should be an age restriction, 18 and up. I think there should be a violent felony check and some kind of psych eval. And do we really need the semi auto and auto styles? Really? I think one of the reasons we are so rabid over guns is that we feel powerless in our current society and owning one gives us that illusion.

I concur that their should be more "hoops" in the pre-qual phase. But I don't think one should have to pay for some of that. Definitely a violent crimes / references check first in addition to a minimum age for someone who didn't have some form of reliable education in firearm safety as a youngster or some other sort of pre-qual like military or law enforcement/security experience.

I Had my first gun at 5, But I much preferred the bow & arrow for hunting. I learned early the heavy responsibility of being a gun owner. It was used to hunt for food only and not for sport. Save the necessary target practice required to be proficient in taking down whatever we were going after. Be it Squab, Turkey, Deer...

Thank You for looking up my questions. I've more planned for the coming days, but been real busy getting the kiddos to daycare and helping out the parents as of late, not a lot of screen time unfortunately. Your more than welcome to shoot me a message if you have questions for me. Can always use more friends.

@ITGuy75 you got it! Ps....how tall are you? It looks like you have to duck when entering doors!

@Freespirit64 6ft. even. And yes. I smash my noggin all the time going through some doors I'm not familiar with. lol

The proposals given forth by the progressive liberals would do absolutely nothing to deter criminals from obtaining weapons, and the Santa Fe school shooting doesn't even fit the gun control narrative as no "assault" rifle was used. Our politicians should focus more on finding ways to reach out to those with mental illness and improving security measures as opposed to banning certain items some would deem unnecessary to own. And yes...I am a gun owner.

While I support the right of an individual to be safe in their person through possession of a firearm, I also support modified legislation on what is and should be considered reasonable.
