Food for thought.
“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

This should be a no-brainer. One additional element is raising the volume level also helps spread lies. When people get really loud (and stuttering is a sure sign) a lie is usually in the works.
Everybody knows the State is fueled with Lies, some big, many small. It is a wonder politicians can keep a straight face when they talk. And yet people are still Party animals!
Have you read or heard some of the surveys where the deaf are asked to watch political speeches and, in essence, crack up laughing because they see them lying all through.

I thought it was Hitler.
