I am a doubting Donald. I doubt many things for simple reasons such as: lets consider ETs. I have never seen anything non terrestrial walking about or even hiding about, nor do I know anyone who has seen an ET and I have travelled far and wide and met a lot of people in my 67+ years. I even went to places where it was possible that someone had seen an ET. Those same people have not seen a an extra-terrestrial UFO either. Yup... I think I doubt for good reason. Now the creatures that live inside our bodies is another story...and scary at that.
Not sure what this has to do with philosophy, but OK. I have never seen an ET either, but I once momentarily thought I saw a UFO. It turned out to be the Goodyear blimp turned sideways.
@DonaldHRoberts Ok, you are taking an epistemological angle. But, according to you, this is all based on the fact that you have not, not yet anyway, met someone who claims to have seen an ET or a UFO. But there are such people and they have been on TV many times. So, if you met such a person tomorrow that would invalidate your entire epistemological argument. At least, according to what you have presented so far.
FINALLY A SENSIBLE PERSON regarding ET. Sooooooo many folks follow this persons reasoning or THAT PERSON...and the worst of all is BARBARA MARCINIACK...omg...TALK ABOUT A LINE OF DUNG!!! THANK you DONALD...you MAKE SENSE...I hope others follow your line of thought.
