They should. It has to do with the schools slowly being drained of the actual history and civil information and being stuffed with Christian specific ideals slowly since roughly the 1940s... give or take depending on the state. I was in high school in the 80s and even then Civics was an elective to count towards the history credits, not a mandatory part of the curriculum in and of itself. Before that any civics was glossed over. Now I hear if they don't get a glimpse during grade school then they often don't see it at all. I also hear some areas, some states are making it part of the studies again but it seems hit and miss.
This needs to be framed and hung in every government building in the United States.
