Seems to me a personalized VULCAN plate would be more appropriate!

That title is a little misleading. There are people pulling for it, nothing passed yet.

I understand the idea but don't really like it in practice. More people see your ID than officers and emergency personnel. Given how uninformed people are about autism I don't think every employer or person who sells alcohol or cough syrup should know. Also many autistic people see the puzzle piece is a hate symbol.

There is a wider conversation to be had about police getting aggressive or arresting people who don't respond correctly. This applies to whole neurodiverse and mental health community though not just autism. Also all people in general.
