This was an easy group to join.

Although I am middle-aged now, and never diagnosed, it seems I fall somewhere on the spectrum. They would today class me maybe as high-functioning or Aspergers, but I don't care about all that any more.

Lovely to meet you all.

Hi MM and welcome! Yes, it's an interesting group, though one thing we mostly have in common is that we're all a bit shy. These days The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM 5) gives us all the same title wherever we're located on the spectrum...... it's Autism Spectrum Disorder. I'm in my 60s and recently diagnosed so I have a whole new insight into my life, though there are still a lot of things that I'm working out. Anyway, pull up a chair, put your feet up and make yourself at home 😀

I'm old and always felt the same . I'm not into a lot of social interaction .

Posted by altschmerzI was diagnosed with autism by a psychologist after a day of testing, but my current therapist keeps saying she doesn't think I have it (or I'm a "little bit" autistic).
