So I just started watching the new Predator movie. Again, the autistic child who knows everything trope. I mean, I know it's not just me, and I'm not sure what I should expect from a popcorn movie.
My question is, how offensive is this? I really liked this franchise and I guess I'm wondering what other people think. I haven't finished the movie yet. I could go into this a lot more but wanted to hear what other people think first.
Edit:. Ok, just watched some more of the movie. It is offensive over all and not just for the autism stereotype. And it's bad.

Posted by altschmerzI was diagnosed with autism by a psychologist after a day of testing, but my current therapist keeps saying she doesn't think I have it (or I'm a "little bit" autistic).
