Something that has come up from time to time is autistic role models or lack there of. There are a great number of actual and suspected high profile people and/or celebrities on the spectrum and it has been helpful to show that they can have perfectly productive, successful and happy lives.
Do you know of any?
Temple Grandin comes to mind. Woody Allen and I think Tim Burton...
