I’m looking for some advice, please. My granddaughter was diagnosed as PDD-NOS in 2012 at 12 yo. The psychologist at her school decided the new umbrella designation did not include PDD-NOS and so my granddaughter (and any others) were denied services for their time in school (dropped out, naturally). What legal organization can help us dealing with this discrimination?
I think the ADA has a 2 year statute of limitations. I doubt anyone can help you a decade later, unfortunately.
I’ll contact them. Who’s to say they have corrected the problem at the high school. Thanks for replying.
@StillEllenDale But I imagine your damages that wild give your case merit will have timed out. If there was a class action or something mayyyyyybe that would give you a tiny chance to make a claim, but claimants get practically nothing from class action lawsuits, so that would really only be to cause them harm (not that I don't support actions for the sole purpose of causing harm).
@ChestRockfield I’ve been known to back , even start, a ruckus to highlight a wrong. Thanks for your input.

Posted by altschmerzI was diagnosed with autism by a psychologist after a day of testing, but my current therapist keeps saying she doesn't think I have it (or I'm a "little bit" autistic).
