It's been a while since I posted here. First of all, the Mrs and I are doing ok with this COVID-19 thing. The stay-at-home wasn't much of a trauma for us since we are retired and our off-spring moved out last Fall. The winter riding season sucked mostly due to weather. We had 2 summer trips planned, one to Myrtle Beach SC and one to Niagara Falls NY with the motorcycle club. The first one is cancelled and it looks like the second one is going to get cancelled also because of the COVID-19. So I've been limited to around town and the occassional day-trip with a few friends. On the other hand I've been able to do some work on the trike. I've added a voltmeter, a switch for the fog/driving lights, a speedo calibrator (I put on larger diameter tires last August) and a Sirius XM radio. I also replaced a failed headlight modulator control module (that was a pain to troubleshoot) and finally found and fixed an intermittant ground problem that's been bugging me since last June. I took me three prior "fixes" before I located the real problem. It's amazing what an intermittant contact on the ground pin contacts inside a multi-pin connector can do...and how hard it is to find! Lol. So I guess the plan for a while is to stay "hunkered down" and get out when I can.
How's everyone else doing?
I've been enjoying trips to the farm (one hour each way) every week or so. Haven't seen any virus attacks among the deer and turkeys so far. Stay safe out there.
